Her outing comes after Courteney reunited with her co-star Neve Campbell and her ex-husband David Arquette, 50, to chat about their new film Scream.

During the virtual interview on The Drew Barrymore Show on Monday, Courteney reflected on her dreaded 'baby bangs' in Scream 3.

While they were discussing their characters' distinct looks, Courteney was reminded of her 'baby bangs' on Scream 3, which she said, 'There was nothing worse.'

'Each Scream I would try to come up with a different look for her that was just over the top gross, or ugly or too much,' Courteney told Drew, who famously played Casey, the first victim of Ghostface in the original 1996 classic Scream.

Courteney was reminded of the infamous 'bangs' from Scream 3, by Neve who played Sidney Prescott in the movies.

She said: 'Oh that was the worst. I forgot about that. There was nothing worse. That was a big lesson in life because that will forever be on film.'

She added that the production only had, 'one set of bangs' for the 2000 sequel, adding, 'there's supposed to have a thing that starts back here, far back and that's where the part goes for the bangs.

'For some reason, they put it here (center of her head) and started cutting it and I was like, 'Well I don't have a choice now,'' she said.

Neve joked, 'I remember that day because we were all like, 'No they are good, really,'' with a laughing David adding, 'I felt so bad for you!'

Courtney even poked fun at the look in Halloween 2000 where she shared a selfie with someone in a Ghostface seemingly cutting her hair.

'Not the bangs!!!!!!!!' she said in her caption.

Back in 2019, Courteneys s ex-husband David, who she was married to from 1999 to 2013, took responsibility for the look.

A meme surfaced which featured a photo from Scream 3 that read, 'If you ever feel like s**t,' just remember Courteney Cox's hair in Scream 3.'

David commented on the post, stating, 'I have to take the fall for this. I suggested a Bettie Page look. It just didn't work. I take full responsibility.'
