For a gal who only gave birth to her first child five months ago, Hillary Scott was looking fabulous.

The 27-year-old Lady Antebellum singer proudly put her slimmed down figure on display as she headed to the star-studded American Country Awards in Las Vegas on Tuesday.

Hillary held gazes her way as she posed alongside her bandmates Dave Haywood and Charles Kelley on the arrivals line at the Mandalay Bay.

The lead singer was all womanly curves in a clingy and low-cut, black-and-blue flowered dress that was cinched in at the waist courtesy of a thick, braided black belt.

The raven-haired Hillary added a chic black handbag and a bouffant hairdo that allowed glimpses of her dangling gemstone earrings.

Later on, Hillary took to the stage with confidence in tight-fitting black trousers, black top adorned with a heavy necklace and a stylish snakeskin jacket.

Lady Antebellum had the honour of being up for two awards this year, the first for Artist Of The Year: Duo Or Group and the second being Single Of The Year: Duo/Group for their song Downtown.

Hillary and her drummer husband, Chris Tyrrell, welcomed their little angel Eisele Kaye on July 22, the same day that the Royals welcomed their little prince.

She decided to take her sweet, slow time getting back into shape.

As Hillary told People last month: 'There’s so much pressure on new moms, especially who are in the public eye, to get back into shape as soon as possible, which translates to, "As soon as possible, look like you were never pregnant or had a baby."'

She added: 'The women who get there the fastest are celebrated like it’s an accomplishment. I think that is so wrong and sends such a bad message to young women.

'That pressure really forced me to take a deep breath and accept and embrace me for me, which is always a work in progress, but more important now that I have a daughter.'

As far as their daughter's unusual name goes, Hillary and Chris has decided on that before she was born.

'She had probably been out of the womb 20 to 30 minutes before we decided for sure,' the new mother told People on Tuesday.

'After she was born, I was looking at Chris going, "What’s her name?!" Once he said it, then I knew. I had felt that all along, but I needed him to feel it too.'

Hillary added: 'We love how it sounds kind of musical, it has a sing-song sound to it. It floats in a pretty, musical way.'
